Holiday fun had at the Hub

New holiday traditions are born

Gingerbread House Party

On December 11, a merry and bright Kinston tradition was born — decorating gingerbread houses at the Hub. The frosting and candies were a plenty. Howe Eventful spun festive tunes. And, children placed their magical touches on gingerbread houses that they later took home. See images here. If you missed the Gingerbread House Party this year, plan on joining us in 2023 — at this and many more kid-friendly events.

Neighbors mingled & jingled into the night

On December 9, Kinston residents gathered at the Hub to “mingle & jingle.” They got to know one another better while enjoying an array of delicious food and beverages and partaking in a lively gift exchange. But, the party didn’t stop when the event closed. Neighbors arranged an impromptu after-party, which progressed from home to home. You can be part of the fun at this and other neighborhood events in 2023. Watch for more adult-only events here and on the calendar.
